How much time do you need to charge your EV?

The answer to this question depends on several factors: the battery capacity and the power of the on-board charger installed in your vehicle, as well as the power of the charging station used.

Below we present electric cars available on the market, along with estimated battery charging times (in hours) in the range from 0% to 80% – using alternating current (AC).

If your car is equipped with one of the two DC charging standards (CHAdeMO or CCS) used in Europe, it will take less than 30 minutes to charge a 30 kWh battery from 0% to 80% using a 50 kW DC charger.
